Joanna Gaines gives a virtual Instagram tour of her office…and all the items she wants to steal

She was all alone in the office after everyone else had departed.

Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines decided to give her followers a behind-the-scenes view into her office life on Thursday as she toured the Waco, Texas, headquarters of Magnolia Market.

The 41-year-old HGTV stalwart got a little playful when she mused about all the belongs she would steal from her co-workers.

Joanna began the series of posts with a confession.

‘Sometimes after everyone leaves the office I walk around and consider (just for a quick second) taking stuff out of other peoples’ offices and keeping these things for myself…’

The wife of Chip Gaines first set her sights on a framed red note in the office of Billy Jack Brawner, the photography director for Joanna and Chip’s home decorations site Magnolia.

‘it out to be a feat to achieve boredom in a world like this,’ read the note, which was unsigned.

‘I almost just snatched this right off the shelf,’ joked Joanna.

‘True story- when chip and I were dating he asked who my celebrity crush was… I quickly answered and said @letterman,’ she admitted.

‘This story justifies taking this picture for sure.’

‘Ummm… she is clearly a bragger and could do without that lamp and tree and console. Look at this space. All of it,’ she wrote.

The home decoration icon even (jokingly) contemplated stealing from her own child.

‘If my butt was smaller I’d snatch these chairs right out of baby Crew’s office,’ she wrote of the cozy room that featured a crib and plush carpet.

Alas, Joanna’s after hours tour through the office didn’t result in any finds.

She considered taking a large potted plant, but ‘he wouldn’t budge.’

‘I gotta go now,’ she wrote at the end of her tour. ‘Stay tuned for more office confessions. Soon.’

Later on Thursday, Joanna got serious with a sweet birthday tribute to her mother, Nan Stevens.

A photo adorned with hearts showed the Fixer Upper star with her father Jerry Stevens, mother, and her two sisters, Mary Kay McCall and Teresa Criswell.
